MIT Manipal Placement Highlights

Accenture (ASE)- ADM was the leading recruiter for undergraduates, rendering 133 offers to students, followed by TCS (44) and Capgemini(43). The Manipal Institute of Technology witnessed the highest ever salary offered to the B.Tech stream, i.e., INR 43.31 LPA. The growth in the average and the median salary was also observed in 2020. MIT Manipal Placement Cell

Manipal Institute of Technology placement cell follows a proactive approach in placing students into job profiles of their preference. The Associate Director heads the placement team consisting of student representatives and faculty coordinators from each department. The Manipal placement cell carries out campus placements and internships every year.

Manipal Institute of Technology introduced a unique part in their curriculum, ensuring students spend time in the industry. The B.Tech students need to spend around 4-6 months in their chosen field industry during the final semester. The postgraduate students need to spend 10-12 months of their 2nd year to gain valuable industry exposure.

Recruitment Process

• The Associate Director sends formal invitations for recruitment to prospective corporates for recruitment of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• The date of the visit is scheduled based on mutual convenience.
• The pre-placement talks are conducted for students.
• Lastly, GD and personal interviews are scheduled.

MIT Manipal Internship 

The 'Practical School' concepts allow the students to experience the real-time world in their respective chosen industry field. Therefore, this project is mandatory for all the final-year students across all the streams. The summer internship opportunities are also provided to the students. They act as a gateway to gain exposure for their final year practical school project.
