Lakshmibai College is a constituent of Delhi University which is connected through many bus routes and metro stations. The college has red brick building, lawns which are full of trees and flowers, staff quarters, sports grounds, internet connectivity, etc. The library of Lakshmibai College has a modern and fully automatic library that uses Libsys software and scanner guns for relevancy and efficiency. All the computer labs are loaded with SAFA to help the differently-abled students to learn typing skills. The computer lab is also connected to Wi-Fi connectivity.

The faculties of Lakshmibai College spend quality time with their students to cater to their academic needs. The college was established in the year 1965 and is named in honor of the fearless warrior and patriot, Rani Lakshmibai.
