Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) was established in the year 1916 and became a part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the University of Delhi in 1950. The campus of Lady Hardinge Medical College is located in the Connaught Place area of New Delhi. The public college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Admission to the MBBS course is based on the NEET UG exam.

LHMC offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the medical field. Although the undergraduate courses are offered only to female candidates, the postgraduate courses are offered to both male and female candidates. The institute secured 29th place in the medical category by NIRF ranking 2022.
