It was established in the year 2006 and it is affiliated to the West Bengal University Of Health Science and has accreditation of Medical Council Of India. KPC Medical College & Hospital has a unique educational philosophy.

KPC Medical College and Hospital Cut Off:

The KMCAH, Kolkata follows a cut off standard for the courses. The KMCAH cut off will be mainly based on the score obtained by the candidates in their corresponding eligibility tests and hence it is purely merit basis. For different categories the cut-off scores will be different for different categories, ie the percentage will be different for general and other minority categories.

The selection and cut-off will be based on the norms of the West Bengal University Of Health Science. Students have to go through the cut-off criterion of the university. Since the NEET score is mandatory for both MBBS and MD, students should have to have legible marks in NEET.

The sprawling campus of KPC Consists of all the relevant facilities that are required for a medical college. Students can get and find all the needfuls within the campus itself, moreover, the departments are well prepared with all necessities for the students.

Classrooms with state of the art infrastructure is a highlight, where the classrooms can take a number of students and seminars as well as presentations can be done more smooth in the classrooms very well with the help of LCD projectors and audio devices. The college library of KPC is enriched with books from all branches of study and is located on the ground floor of the college building. The library subscribes to both native and foreign language journals and other medical references 12840 sq.ft library has a fully functional high-speed wireless internet connectivity. The library said to have a 50 seated computer lab and also facilities for video CDs.KPC Medical College and Hospital Kolkata West Bengal have a wonderful auditorium where all the special events are programs that were held.

All the students are covered with Medicare that entitles them the general hospitalization. Anatomy Museum of the medical college has many of the preserved specimens that the students can study in detail and a medical lab with all the pieces of and lab equipment for detailed study

Though there are no placements in particular in Medical colleges, KPC Medical College Placement doesn't offer direct placements, but the internship programs offered by the campus for the students will be very much informative and a great experience to the students. On an internship, students are directly involved in the field of consulting patients and the students will be able to learn many things about the soul of the medical profession. The students are provided stipend ranging from 20k to 30k during their internship.

Students can join any hospital or private nursing home for doing their internship, where students who prove themselves good have a chance of getting a try in the KPC itself as a junior doctor 

KPC Medical College and Hospital Fees:

Since the institution is providing medical professional courses, the fee structure will be with respect to the importance of the course as well as value. The fee structure is divided into different categories, such as State, Management and NRI quotas.

For MBBS the fee structure for the students in the state quota will be INR 9,90000 and for Management quota students, the fee will be INR 40,50000 and for NRI students the fee is 1,50,00000.

Fees for MD programs at KPC Medical College and Hospital Kolkata West Bengal will be INR 14,55000 for state quota and INR 53,25000 for Management quota.

KPC Medical College and Hospital Scholarships:

Students who have joined KPC via management quota and others have a less chance of getting scholarships. But state/ merit quota students have a chance of getting scholarships from the institution. The scholarships will be based on the score the students have secured in their respective entrance exams and will be corresponding to the marks each student scored in their previous academics.

Many Government scholarships, as well as other scholarships programs, were there on the campus for eligible students and respective concessions will be there for students who belong to the minority category will be given by the institution

KPC Medical College and Hospital Eligibility:

For joining KPC Medical College, the students should satisfy some eligibility constraints. The basic qualifications needed by the students for MBBS and MD programs in KPC are below.

KPC Medical College and Hospital Admission:

The admission to KPC Medical College and Hospital will be based on merit, as well as the applicants should follow the eligibility constraints and the admission conditions.

For MBBS, Students who are NEET qualified and looking for admission in the college should have to apply and register in the WBMCC  website as soon as the registration process starts. Those students who are NEET qualified and domicile of West Bengal are eligible for the seats of State Govt. while students from all over India who are NEET qualified and registered with WBMCC are eligible for the Management quota seats.

Applicants who are seeking MD admission in KPC have to apply for National Entrance Postgraduate Medical [NEET- PG] test and should earn valid scores. Applications have to submit online. 

For admission, applicants must pay the admission fee as well as application fees. Candidates have to submit their appropriate certificates at the time for admission applicants who belong to the minority category shall have to bring the relevant documents and proofs at the time of admission.

KPC Medical College Hostel:

KPC provides hostel facilities for boys and girls KPC Medical College Facilities always provides all the requirements for hostels including basic needs like fresh drinking water and hygienic healthy food for students. Hostel facilities are available for students who have applied for UG (MBBS). Each room has cupboards, attached bathrooms, table, chair, etc. and all other needful things. Students who stay in the hostel have to follow the code of conduct.
