Rajarambapu Institute of Technology was established in the year 1983 in the state of Maharashtra. It has been granted the status of autonomous by the University Grant Commission [UGC] and it is approved All India Council for Technical Education[AICTE]. It has been accredited as a NAAC-A grade Institute by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The undergraduate courses have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation [NBA].

The KE Society's Rajarambapu Institute of Technology offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral courses in the discipline of Engineering. Major courses offered at DRIT are B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma, BBA, MBA.

RIT Facilities:

There are various facilities provided by the institute for the overall development of the students. The facilities include a library, workshop, hostel, computer labs, language laboratory, wifi, sports, and many more. The RIT has a state of the art infrastructure facility. The central library has a vast collection of 96225 + volumes, 30771 + titles as well as 6524 e-books, of all engineering disciplines and management department. It has a digital library and an e-learning facility. The college has a workshop with modern equipment. Various software’s like master CAM Level II, MTS simulation, software for turning & milling available here add to the competency level required by the industry. There is a computer lab which is well equipped with dell machinery. The college has a language laboratory which helps students in improving communication skills. K. E. Society's Rajarambapu Institute of Technology Scholarships:

There are various scholarships provided by the college to the deserving students. The Candidates need to apply online under the Maharashtra government for scholarship/freeship. The reserved category candidates[ST,SC,VJ,DT,NT,NTA,NTB,NTC,NTD,SBC] got admitted through CAP rounds will be provided with 100% scholarships for tuition and exams fees. The OBC candidates will receive 50% of scholarships for tuition and exam fees. 

• OBC/SBC/VJNT candidate with parent's income below 1 lakh will receive the scholarship
• OBC/SBC/VJNT candidate with parent's income above 1 lakh will receive the freeship
• SC/ST candidates parent's income below INR 2 lakh will receive the scholarship
• SC/ST candidates parent's income above INR 2 lakh will receive the freeship

RIT Activities:

The college has Indo-US Collaboration for Engineering Education. The institute has been selected under DST – NIMAT Project 2012 – 13 For conducting Programmes in entrepreneurship development. Grants Rs. 1,45,000/- sanctioned. The college has organized Entrepreneurship Development Program for 3 weeks in summer vacation as finishing school for 15 students who opted for their career as entrepreneurs. There are QEEE Smart Classes conducted for students to enhance their practical skills.

Candidates can apply for admission online. Students are shortlisted based on the marks obtained/ secured in the qualifying examination. The following are the eligibility criteria for the courses offered at RIT.

RIT Admissions:

The RIT admissions can be done online through the official website. The candidates seeking admissions for B.Tech must have a valid JEE Main or MHT-CET relevant entrance exam score conducted by the Maharastra board. The aspirants seeking admissions for M.Tech  must have a valid GATE score.

There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The college commits parental care to boys and girl students residing in the hostel. The male hostel can accommodate 659 members and the female hostel can accommodate 477 members. The Ladies hostel offers some special facilities like cooking gas and electric geezers. There are 6 mess blocks present for the food facility in the hostel. The RIT facilities include an uninterrupted power supply, 24 Hours 330 Mbps Internet access, a dispensary with free medical treatment, 24 hours canteen facilities during the examination, and many more. There is a hot water facility available on the campus. The hostel mess has TVs and daily newspapers for students to update their knowledge.
