IMS Unison University started in 1996 as IMS Dehradun, a non-profit organization set by a group of visionaries dedicated to the cause of changing the face of professional education in Northern India.  The Government of Uttarakhand has granted its approval to establish as IMS Unison University in 2013. It is a DQ I-GAUGE E_LEAD Certified college. The University today provides a platform for excellence in teaching, learning, and administration. State- of- the art Information Technology is extensively used in the University contributing to the development of well-trained graduate, post-graduate, and doctorate students to fulfill the manpower needs of the corporate world.

The admission process at IMS Unison University begins with the candidate filling the "Registration Form" for the interested Program on the University’s website. The Candidate / Guardians are advised to go through the details of the Programs interested in and its eligibility criteria before applying for the program.

Institute of Management Studies Eligibility Criteria

Institute of Management Studies is strict with its eligibility criteria. Some of the eligibility criteria of courses are mentioned below.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Uttarakhand OBC (non-creamy layer/ differently-abled) candidates in aggregate at Post Graduation level with a valid (eligible) NET / SLET/ SET score along with a consistently good academic record.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline with min.50% marks is eligible to apply. For final year appearing candidates, an aggregate of all previous years should be min.50%. (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ ST/Uttarakhand OBC)

BBA Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 in any discipline with min. 50% marks and English as a subject. (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Uttarakhand OBC)

B.A. (Hons.) Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 in any discipline with min. 50% marks and English as a subject. (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST/Uttarakhand OBC)

BA.LLB (Hons.) Eligibility Criteria

• 10+2 in any discipline with min.50% marks (45% marks in case of SC and ST applicants) and English as a subject. The candidate should be below Twenty (20) years of age as of 1st July 2021.

LLM Eligibility Criteria

• LLB/ BA LLB/ BBA LLB or equivalent with min. 50% marks.

Institute of Management Studies Placements

IUU has established a dedicated Training & Placement Cell for enhancing the exposure of the students to the corporate world in terms of final placement as well as arranging summer internships for them and acting as an interface between the University and the Industry. It acts as a liaison between the industry leaders and our students. It is oriented to provide the best possible placements to our students in leading corporate houses/MNCs. Total 204 companies visited the campus for placements. 121 companies (On/ Off-Campus) for the final placement of the students and 83 companies for the Internships of the students across various schools of the University.
