BITS Pilani Department of Management was founded in the year 1971. It first offered a two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The institute established an integrated educational framework in 1973; MBA became the integrated first-degree program Master of Management Studies (MMS), which combines engineering and management. This curriculum was presented for three decades and was a huge success. In 2006, the course was reorganized as an MBA in response to industry demands.

Students interested in enrolling in the management department must complete an online application form on the university's website. Following are the eligibility criteria for the students for different courses.

Department of Management BITS Pilani MBA Eligibility Criteria

• A first-class or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in either B. Tech/ B. E/ B. Pharma/ B. Arch/ MCA/ M.Sc. is required.
• BITS Pilani will conduct the Business Analytics Aptitude Test (BAAT), mandatory for all candidates.
• The candidate must have studied mathematics or statistics in 12th grade and received at least 60 percent in one of these disciplines.

Department of Management BITS Pilani PhD

• Either candidate must have completed an MBA or a two-year management program with a minimum of 60% / 6.0 CGPA.
• OR the candidate must have an M.Phil. in Social and Behavioural Sciences and a ME/M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering.
• OR the candidate must have a BITS Pilani higher degree.
