CSVTU, or Chattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, was established on January 21, 2005, by the State Government of Chhattisgarh. CSTVU ensures systematic, efficient and quality education in engineering, architecture, pharmacy and technological subjects. CSVTU offers courses on programs like diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels. CSVTU accepts various examination scores like GATE/NET/SLET/JEE Mains/CAT/JoSAA at the time of admission.

The permanent campus of Chattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) now only consists of an administration block. The construction of the full-fledged campus is in progress on an area of 250 acres of land near Bhilai township. CSTVU has 44 Engineering Colleges, 1 Architecture Institute, 40 Polytechnic Colleges and 11 Pharmacy Colleges affiliated. CSTVU also offers placement options. The highest CTC offered was INR 5.2 LPA, and the average CTC was INR 3 LPA.

CSVTU Faculty

CSVTU started with 4 PG courses in 2016, namely M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering and Bio-informatics, M.Tech in Energy and Environmental Engineering, M.Tech in Microelectronics and VLSI, and Master of Design. In 2017-2018 session Master of Design was discontinued and 3 new courses were added namely M.Tech in Structural Engineering, M.Tech in Environmental & Water Resources Engineering and M.Plan in Urban Planning.
