In Patna, Bihar, India, Chanakya National Law University is a public law university. It was founded by the Government of Bihar in 2006 as a public university focused on legal education. The university is spread over 18 acres of land at Nyaya Nagar, Mithapur near Mithapur Bus stand, Jakkanpur Police Station, Patna.

• Every year, the Chanakya Premier League (CPL) is held in the same format as the Indian Premier League. Students and faculty members are able to own a team and participate in auctions to purchase players.
• Every year, in the separate halls of residence of boys and girls, Counter-Strike Tournaments are held.
• Every semester, the Quizzical organizes an intra-quizzing competition under the auspices of the Academic and Debating Committee.
• It has also been hosting its own parliamentary discussion, which is expected to be one of the largest in eastern India. 
• CNLU also hosted Bihar's first large-scale Model United Nations event.

Chanakya National Law University Bihar Campus Facilities

Classrooms-The spacious, fully air-conditioned classrooms in the university provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions.

Library- CNLU library is very spacious and air-conditioned. The library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD- ROMs, online databases, books, e-journals, reports, thesis, etc. The library has a collection of more than 14000 books and more than 23 Indian and Foreign Journals.

Multipurpose & Moot Court Hall- University provides a multipurpose hall with 120 seating capacity that acts as a common ground for students, faculty, and corporate personalities for regular interfaces, conferences, moot court, seminars, workshops, and other events. This hall is fully air-conditioned with an audio and presentation facility.

Computer Labs- University provides a wide range of IT services, including campus internet access via a wireless network, online journals access within the campus, etc. Internet services are provided to students in their respective hostels too. CCTV cameras are installed in classrooms, academic and administrative blocks, library, outside & inside the hostel, main gate for security purposes. The entire area is covered under the CCTV Surveillance system.

Cafeteria- The university has a well-maintained and hygienic cafeteria that serves quality food to its students. The cafeterias are spacious.

Hostel- Separate facilities for boys and girls, caring wardens, and tight security arrangements ensure a pleasant stay, allowing students to focus on academics. Hostels have Wireless Internet access, Biometric Attendance System, Warm Water Geyser, Safe drinking water through RO and Water Cooler, Gymnasium inside Hostels, and Television with subscribed channels in Dining Hall. The common rooms are fully equipped with indoor games and other recreation facilities.

Medical Facilities- The university has a full-fledged dispensary with qualified doctors, nurses, and compounders to take care of the health issues of students. University owns a well-equipped ambulance to take care of any kind of emergency.

Banks and ATMs- State Bank of India has provided an ATM facility in the basement of the Administrative Block inside the campus. Indian Bank provided an ATM facility at the main gate of the CNLU campus.
