Central Institute of Tool Design, [CITD] Hyderabad was established in 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO is a pioneering Institution in the field of Tool Engineering in the Country. CITD Hyderabad Institute was initially established as a United Nations Development Programme Project and was executed by International Labour Organization (ILO). This Institute conducts training programs right from Diploma to Post Graduation level. This institute provides two Master of Engineering programs (CAD/CAM & Tool Design) and also has Master of Technology (Mechatronics) course.

With the vision to provide training of the technical personnel in the Designing and Manufacture of Tools, the institute continues to contribute towards value-based learning and knowledge generation. CITD Hyderabad aims to strive for the best quality of education and aims to impart excellence to its students under the supervision of experts.

Candidate must have B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Mechatronics or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 55% marks and the score obtained in CUCET 2019 to be eligible for this course.

CITD Hyderabad PGD Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have B.E. / B.Tech degree or equivalent in relevant discipline from a recognized university and the score obtained in TSICET 2019 to be eligible for this course.

CITD Hyderabad Diploma Eligibility Criteria
