Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Delhi was founded in the year 1938. The foundation was laid by the first President of the Republic of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. It was then formally inaugurated in 1957 by India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Delhi offers courses in Indology, tourism, mass communication, yoga, interior designing, Vastu shastra, ayurveda, palmistry and tourism. The admissions to these courses are made directly via applications. The admission to the PGDM course is based on CAT,XAT, CMAT, MAT or ATMA.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Delhi is now housed in a complex of spacious buildings in a central locality in New Delhi. Its campus covers an area of 4.84 acres of land.
