Badruka College of Commerce and Arts, Hyderabad was founded in the year 1950 by the late Sri Raja Bankatlal Gopikishan Badruka. The college was inaugurated by renowned celebrity Sri M. K. Vellodi, ICS, the then Chancellor of Osmania University. The college was started with a two-year Intermediate Course. In the year 1952, it was upgraded to a degree college.

The college is affiliated to Osmania University. It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with the grade 'B++' in the year 2007. As the college was growing gradually, the college acquired a sprawling campus on Kachiguda station road in the year 1964.

The college is housed in an impressive heritage building. More than 30,000 students have passed through the portals of the Badruka College of Commerce and Arts. It employs highly experienced faculty. The Institute encourages students to participate in various events and co-curricular activities.
