Army Institute of Fashion & Design (AIFD), Bangalore, was established in 2004 by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). The institute's primary focus is to make available excellent technical and professional education in Fashion Designing and Apparel Management. The institute's objectives are to offer fashion education coupled with the latest technologies related to textiles, garments, fashion & IT, build Industry-Institute interaction, and carry out R&D work in fashion designing & textiles.
