Alva’s Institute Of Engineering and Technology (AIET) was founded under Alva’s Education Foundation in the year 2008. The college is situated adjacent to the Moodbidri-Mangalore National Highway and is 24 Kilometers from Mangalore International Airport. The college has a lush green campus which is spread over 30 acres. The college has experienced faculties who guide the students through their mentorship program.

The college has many collaborations with the industry to arrange for visits and tours. The college aims to transform the education sector by providing excellence in Engineering and Management through enhancing skills to meet the evolving needs of the community.

AIET has also signed a MoU with Toyota Kirloskar Motor to develop the skills of students from mid-to-long-term prespective.

AIET Computer Science and Engineering:

Computer Science and Engineering department at Alva's Institute of Engineering and Technology Moodabidri offers programs to undergraduate and postgraduate students with an intake of 120 and 18 students respectively. The department was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 students. The department has employed dedicated and experienced faculties who have a strong commitment to research work in order to cope up with the latest technologies. The students of the department are placed in well-reputed companies and some continue with their higher education. The students carry out three to four innovative projects in the Intel FICE lab. The department has two labs to carry out certification courses like Edwin's Linux lab and Apple iOS Developer Course. 

AIET Electronics and Communication Engineering:

Electronics and Communication have proved time and again that it is one of the widely renowned branches in engineering. It plays a vital role in the development and well-being of society. The branch is concerned with the development, manufacture, design, and application of electronic circuits, devices, and systems. The students get a deep understanding of the fundamental principles, and knowledge about Electronic Circuits and Devices, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Analog and Digital Communication, Computer Architecture and Microprocessors, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Microwave and Broadband Communications, and Digital Signal Processing. The department has experienced and well-qualified faculties, of which seven are pursuing a Ph.D., three are Doctorates, and the remaining are Postgraduates. The faculties of the department have published technical papers in national and international conferences and journals.

AIET Civil Engineering:

Civil Engineering in Aalv's Institute of Engineering and Technology Mangaluru Karnataka was started in the year 2009-10 and had an intake of 60 students. A full-time B.E degree course is offered by the department in Civil Engineering. The department organizes various workshops, industrial visits, and seminars which would give exposure to students and faculties about the current trends in Civil Engineering. Students are involved in the consultancy projects which are obtained through many government and non-government agencies. The department aims in making every student a better engineer by having excellence in entrepreneurship, education, and innovation along with qualities such as high integrity, credibility, and ethical standards. The knowledge and skills of the student are developed by the facilities provided by the department which is within the prescribed curriculum framework by the Visvesvaraya Technological University. A center of excellence is set up by the department that provides research opportunities, and offers technical education in Civil Engineering and makes the students technically and ethically strong.
