AMU Placements 2023: Highest & Average Salary Package, Top Recruiters

AMU placements have always provided best placement opportunities for students. The university has dedicated placement cells for each department and a general placement cell who work collectively to provide best placements for students. The AMU highest package offered for MBA students during the 2022-23 placement drive is INR 14.0 LPA. However, Aligarh Muslim University placements 2022-23 are ongoing and the complete placement data will be released once the drive is concluded. 

According to the NIRF report 2023, AMU has witnessed a tremendous spike in the placement statistics of 2022. The AMU highest package 2022 offered to B.Tech students was INR 21.0 LPA. Companies like Wipro Technologies, Ultra Tech Cement, Samsung, Reliance, NPCL, SBI General Insurance, Amazon, IBM, Genpact, etc., are some of the AMU top recruiters. The university is yet to release placement data like AMU average package, course-wise highest package, etc.

AMU Placement Cell

The Aligarh Muslim University has a placement cell whose mission is to enhance & maintain university-industry connections and to prepare & provide best placement opportunities for students. The placement cell focuses on developing students' soft skills and providing industry knowledge to students under expert supervision. The cell conducts various workshops, seminars, industrial visits, placement training sessions, meck-interviews and group discussions, etc., to prepare students for the final placements.   

AMU Placement Process

The AMU placement cell conducts placement drives annually and conducts written assignments, debates, group discussions sessions, pre-placement talks, and interviews according to the needs of recruiting companies. The step-by-step process of AMU placements is given below.

• The placement cell at the university sends invitations to the recruiting organizations, or the companies contact the cell directly.
• The companies must fill out the Job Description, and the concerned departments will be intimated at the institute.
• After consulting the companies, the training and placement cell decides and finalizes the date for pre-placement talks.
• The selection process schedule is agreed upon once the pre-placement negotiations are concluded.
• Pre-placement talks and selection process is conducted on announced dates.
• Offer letters are issued for selected candidates through the placement cell.
