Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, [AKGEC] Ghaziabad was established in the year 1998. It is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The College is having a campus area of 40 acres with the best infrastructure. The infrastructure includes labs, classrooms, internet facilities with vast computer labs, libraries, and many more.

The AKGEC Placement cell has been set up by the college to connect with the industry and to expose the students to real-time learning. The placement cell provides soft skill training for the students to excel in the interviews, and they also invite companies for placements.

• The cell also trains the students on the core software like AUTOCAD and other engineering related software.
• Students are trained in soft skills, aptitude and technical aspects way before the companies visit the campus for selection.
