  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50%(45% marks in case of SC/ST) from a recognized board/University(however, the candidates qualifying 10+2 through Open Universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses)

Master of Laws/Master of Laws evening course:

  • The candidate must have done 3 years degree course in B.A.LL.B./B. Com.LL.B. and 5 years degree entrance test with a minimum of 55% marks(50% marks in case of SC/ST candidates)

  • The candidate must have passed any other equivalent qualification from any other University recognized by a standard organization.


  • The admission to this course will be done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the Punjab University. The merit list will be prepared in the account of marks in the entrance test and previous academic exam which will be weighted as follows.

  • Entrance test=80% 

  • Academic Marks =20%

  • The candidate checks the admission notification on the official college website.

  • After the notification, the candidate downloads the prospectus which comes along the application form and he/she checks the eligibility criteria and fills the application form.

  • The candidate submits the application form and downloads the hall ticket as notified in the admission notification.

  • The candidate fills the application form and submits it along with the application fees and downloads the hall ticket.

  • The candidate appears for the entrance test and waits for the results.

  • After the results are out the college prepares a merit list and shortlist the candidate according to it and then the subsequent counseling process happens.
