• BE candidate to have passed class 12 or equivalent and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics also eligible candidates must produce a valid score in the Karnataka CET entrance examination during the counseling process. 
• B.Sc candidate who has passed the Pre-University or 10+2 examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or other States. 
• B.Sc candidate who has studied PCB/ Maths/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Psychology/ Electronics/ Home Science, the candidate must be at least 17 years of age for fresh entry candidates.
• BA candidate must have passed two years of Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka Pre-University Education Board or any other equivalent examination. The candidate interested in Bharatanatyam/ Carnatic Music (Vocal)/ Western Music (Instrumental) should undergo two years of training from a recognized institute of music/ dance/ one-year bridge course in fine art, The candidate interested in drawing & painting should produce a certificate of a minimum of three years of training in the respective subject.
• B.Arch. Candidates must pass 10+2 level a with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reservation categories) in aggregate with relevant subjects. The selection process is usually based on merit, but for some courses like B.E, and B.Arch, candidates need to qualify for the entrance test such as KCET conducted by KEA. 
• BBA, BBM, BVA, BFA, BSW, B.Com, B.Ed, and BCA Candidates must pass the 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reservation categories) in aggregate with relevant subjects.
• LLB Candidates must pass the 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reservation categories) in aggregate with relevant subjects, For admission to LLB, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree.
• B.Lib.Sc candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation in the cognate subject. 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks is provided to the SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
• B.PEd applicants are required to have at least 45% marks in graduation in Physical Education or any other graduation with a minimum of 40% marks to be eligible for the program.

• MA candidate must have a 3-year graduation degree with at least 40% marks in total and 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in the cognate subject in the qualifying university examinations to be eligible for MA admission. MA candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in graduation. The counseling process will be done for the shortlisted eligible candidates by PGAC for the final selection.
• M.Tech candidate must have a 3-year graduation degree with at least 40% marks in total and 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in the cognate subject in the qualifying university examinations to be eligible for admission. candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in graduation. The counseling process will be done for the shortlisted eligible candidates by PG-CET & GATE for the final selection.
• LLM candidates must have passed 3 years or 5 years of LLB degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) for the fulfillment of LLM eligibility criteria 2024. The eligible applicants must have a valid score on Common Entrance Test (CET) to secure admission. LLM selection process is based on a merit list that will be prepared by the admission committee as per the criteria mentioned below and the candidates have to appear for the counseling process, with 50% of marks obtained in the CET, 50% of aggregate marks secured in LLB course.
• MCA, M.Voc candidate must have a 3-year graduation degree with at least 40% marks in total and 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in the cognate subject in the qualifying university examinations to be eligible for admission. candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in graduation. The counseling process will be done for the shortlisted eligible candidates by PGAC for the final selection.
• MPA candidate must have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Music Vocal/ Instrumental or Dance or Mridanga as one of the optional subjects Or, the candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks in the Senior Grade Examination in Music (Vocal/Instrumental), conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Board Or, the candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks in PG Diploma or 2 years Diploma or 4 years Certificate Course in Vocal or Instrumental Music/ Dance/ Mridanga from a recognized university.
• MSW applicants are required to have BA/ BSW graduation from recognized universities with at least 50% aggregate marks in all subjects.
• MVA applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts/ Fine Arts in respective disciplines from recognized universities. The candidates are selected based on a merit list prepared by the university.
• MCA applicant must be a graduate with at least 50% marks in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Computer Programming/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Business Statistics/ Business Mathematics as one of the optional electives at the graduation level to be eligible for Bangalore University admission 2024 in MCA.
• M.L.I.Sc candidates must pass any degree examination with a minimum of second class (50% aggregate marks) in optional subjects to be eligible for Bangalore University admission 2024. 
• M.Com applicants must ensure that they fulfill the Bangalore University M.Com eligibility criteria 2024 of having a three-year B.Com/ BBM degree or equivalent with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) aggregate marks in commerce subjects.
• MTTM, and MBA candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Examination in Commerce, Management, Social Sciences, Science, Arts, Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST and Category – I candidates) aggregate marks.
• M.Arch candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks in B.Arch graduation from a recognized university and applicants are shortlisted based on the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and must have a valid score in PGCET or GATE entrance examination.
• M.Ed candidates must pass in B.Ed graduation with at least 50% aggregate marks to be eligible and applicants who meet the eligibility requirements for M.Ed admission will be shortlisted based on merit in graduation. The counseling process will be done for the shortlisted eligible candidates by PGAC.
• MPEd eligibility criteria require the candidate to have passed in Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) degree course with a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for MPEd admission 2024 at Bangalore University. The candidates are required to produce a medical fitness certificate issued by a medical officer of not less than the rank of district surgeon.
